Welcome to South Florida Equine Auction Inc. My name is Melanie Peterson, founder and President of the company. I created this auction company in order to bring the prestige and professionalism of European style auctions to the United States. Together with the technology we utilize to provide the online component, we are ‘Where Innovation Meets Tradition’.
We are pleased to present a live, online web cast horse auction. What does that mean, exactly? Well, it means that we feature horses online for a minimum of thirty days before the live sale event. Then, we produce a live horse auction that is web cast live on our website. Bidders who are pre-registered are able to bid on horses online along with the people attending the live event in person. During the thirty days, bidders may pre-register and make an appointment to view the horses, perform extensive pre-purchase exams (all horses are consigned with basic exams, radiographs are included if on hand), and try the horses if necessary.
Horses may be consigned from anywhere in the world. The horses remain at their original location until the live sale event. Consignors have the choice to include the horse in the live sale event or leave the horse at home during the auction. Obviously, horses at the live sale will have a better chance, but if you consign the horse with all information necessary, it is possible to sell a horse that is presented online only.
We offer Showcase Listings for people interested in listing their horses for sale. This is a classified listing available to anyone, included is pictures, video, biography, and pedigree information. Contact us for more information about Showcase and Feature Showcase Listings.
We also offer Feature Auction Presentations. What this means is if you have a minimum of twenty entries for an auction event, we will treat your business as a Title Sponsor for the event. Contact us for more information.
